Why is my Canon MG6150 printer not printing the content of a PDF I have completed? It prints everything except the black type. Any other documents print the black perfectly.
Hi… I’m confused with this one…I have a fairly nice Canon printer, it can do Black/White and color reproduction on regular paper… I even though it is considered an ink/jet printer, I like using a Laser Jet paper. This seem to give me a very nice print, the paper has a little sheen to it, so the colors seem more brilliant, and I believe the paper doesn’t absorb that much ink, so my printing ink seems to go a little farther. With all of this..I don’t believe I have the capability to print a white Ink (look), on dark paper as you seem to describe… Maybe a true laser Jet printer has the ability to create a “white” letter…But, I don’t believe a black paper is available, on the market unless its a construction kind of paper.. Sorry, This question makes no sense to me…. Good Luck Dave

From a professional photographer. The reason why my ink jet prints are so black and white is the paper is a very dark color. The print you receive is very dark, and you may not see much color unless you use a color printing system to turn the paper the right way. Another reason why I have used a black ink is to allow for more accurate color reproduction. In an automatic printer the ink must be added to the paper to give a white tone which is exactly what your ink jet will give. With an ink jet, you can adjust the amount of black and white until you get what you like as the image printed. I used to use ink jet prints to create a photo magazine. I would print a black and white photo. Then I would adjust the amount the black and white and print.
